You can have the best hearing aids on the market; but if they are not programmed correctly, you will not receive any more benefit compared to an over-the-counter hearing aid. At CAA the hearing place, we follow best practices utilizing real ear measurements, to ensure your hearing aids are working properly and programmed to your specific targets. Real ear measurements can only be conducted on your ears, as sound resonates differently in each individual’s ear canals. Two individuals with the exact same hearing loss and exact same hearing aid programming can have completely different hearing outcomes because of how sound resonates in their unique ear canals.
